The Kendal Tournament 2015

6.30am, The sun was shining, This was always going to be the perfect day for a fantastic Tournament

The 49 entries brought us some early round exciting ties.. Last years winner Andrew Armitstead beaten by Graham Sill, Tony Luisi with a tough match against his Kendal A team mate David Pearson, Young Callum Sill against British Lions Tour Player Matt Brannan, Some big name players were about to fall..

Adrian Procter, Nige Greer looking solid the whole way through, Paul Robinson And Tony Luisi in the bottom half of the draw likewise.. The Kendal Singles Champion Keith Singleton losing to Rob Downey who produced some great pool..

This all led to a thrilling final between Ady Procter and Paul Robinson..

Ady eased to a 2-0 lead and not for a schoolboy error should have been 3-0.. The score at 4-1 the writing was on the wall.. but not so, Ady knew the winning line was close and perhaps maybe took the foot off the gas somewhat.. Robo had it all to do.. He did so.. Before we knew it.. 4-4

Adrians expierience and superior mental attitude took him to the promised land winning 5-4.. This was Adys second tournament win and thoroughly deserved..

Paul was aggressive in every frame, if he had taken just a few more chances it may well have been his first tournament win.. He was gracious in defeat and a gentleman as always..

You can see Adrian crowned "The Kendal Tournament Champion" on presentation night

This is the Kendal & District Pool Leagues finest Tournament, played in the true spirit of the game, with the perfect final..

Thank you everybody
