Kendal Tournament Champion 2017

The KDPL's Finest Tournament was here at last,, £500 prize money up for grabs

The entries we're slightly down but still attracted the usual suspects.. So many potential winners, it really was hard to call, Especially when the new county singles champion Andrew Milliard crashed and burned in the first round, Julian Stobbart seemed to be everybody's favourite, Alan Richardson was playing some excellent pool but at the end of the long and winding road the final brought us Andrew Armitstead against Ady Procter

Andrew stormed into a 4-1 lead but Ady had a second wind and a second "Jager" to level it 4-4, it really was nip and tuck from there and sure enough it went to the decider, It was a cagey final frame that went into the early hours of monday morning but Andrew had done it

Winning this historical trophy for the fourth time the new Kendal Tournament Champion is Andrew "The Grim Reaper" Armitstead

You can see Andrew being presented with the trophy and a cheque for £200 at the Presentation evening
