All Captains please read re postponed games

 We have had a lot of postponed/rearranged matches this season for various reasons.
i would just like to make it clear it is the responsibility of the postponing captain to ensure at least 24 hours notice is given to the league secretary in writing by text email or messenger & to the opposing captain & very importantly to the venue where match would have been played to ensure time & money is not wasted preparing food & also giving the venue at least 24 hours notice of the rearranged match date to make sure the table is available & can prepare food.
the secretary should also be made aware in writing as above of the rearranged date & as per the constitution this date should be within 4 weeks of the original match date.
